Screen printing is to stretch silk fabric, synthetic fiber fabric or metal screen on the screen frame, and make screen printing plates by hand engraving paint film or photochemical plate making. Modern screen printing technology uses photosensitive materials to make screen printing plates by photolithography (making the screen holes in the graphic part of the screen printing plate through holes, not the screen holes in the graphic part blocked). During printing, the squeegee squeezes the ink to the substrate through the mesh of the image and text part, forming the same image and text as the original.

Inks and coatings can be used as long as they can penetrate the mesh fineness of the screen. It can be printed in monochrome, and can also be printed in color by overlaying and screening.

It has strong light resistance: it can put light resistant pigments and fluorescent pigments into the ink through simple methods, so that the printed images and texts can always maintain their luster without being affected by temperature and sunlight, and even emit light at night.

Screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, easy to print and plate making, low cost and strong adaptability.
